Anybody has any comment on the speculation of MSFT (msn.com) buying CNET? It makes a lot of sense. CNET mainly serves the high tech industries, and it is also related to NBC as MSFT through msn.com.

If this does happen, CNET should be worth at least 3-4 billion, and we are looking at a stock price of 200-250 pre-split. After all, XCIT was bought at 6 billion, Geocities was bought at 5 billions. Unlike Geocities or XCIT, CNET is making good money with a projected Y2000 earning of $1.08 per share.

Let us cheer for the union of msn.com and CNET!
