Todd, the recent earnings report was very positive. also, I saw today a news account of FDA approval of a new Guidant product for use in this country (a cardiac catheter). sorry, but i don't have more detailed information handy. according to Investors Business Daily, the medical instruments industry group as a whole has been showing improving price performance over the past three months. (i wish i could enjoy GDT's current rally more! i closed a nicely profitable position in GDT call options, April 50's, on December 20 and didn't roll into a new position.) Congratulations if you're long GDT. tom phillips
