DJ: TCTV Announces Formation of 5th Avenue Channel Web and TV
Business-to-Business Division

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 3, 1999--

Company Discloses Initial Product Placements With XOOM.com and Nu Skin
Enterprises

Tel-Com Wireless Cable TV Corp. (Nasdaq:TCTV) Wednesday announced the
creation of a new business-to-business division offering customized
product-based e-commerce solutions for Web businesses and television
networks.
The company's services are based on its experience in product sourcing,
development and marketing. This announcement follows the successful
conclusion of a two-month test of its business-to-business model with
XOOM.com (Nasdaq:XMCM) and with BigPlanet.com, which is owned by Nu Skin
Enterprises (Nasdaq:NUS).
Tel-Com's business-to-business services focus on: the customization of
product combinations, designed and targeted for a Web site's demographic
mix, and including the sale of individual Tel-Com products to other Web
sites; the sale of Tel-Com-exclusive products through its agreements with
home shopping channels and through infomercial campaigns; and third-party
drop shipping and customer billing.
"The results of our tests confirm for us the strength of our
business-to-business model, and we are aggressively pursuing the development
of this end of our business," said Mel Rosen, Tel-Com's president and chief
executive officer. "The formation of this business will help us fully
leverage our product strengths in the online and television mediums."
Tel-Com announced the launching of a series of targeted product campaigns
with XOOM.com, where it has placed a number of products on XOOM's Web site
and has created a number of outbound e-mail campaigns for XOOM's 6
million-plus membership, including the very successful campaign for the
Cosmopolitan Virtual Makeover CD-ROM, a product to which the company owns
certain distribution rights.
Tel-Com also supplies cosmetic and other accessory and technology items in
XOOM.
Tel-Com also announced an agreement with BigPlanet.com, where Tel-Com is
providing customized products and product services to BigPlanet, the
Internet network marketing company owned by Nu Skin International, a Fortune
500 company. Tel-Com is supplying a series of product lines to BigPlanet
including software, hardware, electronics and cellular products.
Rosen stated: "The strength of our model is indicated by BigPlanet's initial
purchase orders totaling over $200,000 for only one of the items in our
test, the unique Via-TV video telephone conference system developed by 8X8
Inc. (Nasdaq:EGHT), for which Tel-Com has certain Internet and television
distribution rights."
Tel-Com's 5th Avenue Channel Inc. operates 5thAvenueChannel.com, an online
service that offers high-end products, services and information to its
clientele, with a wide variety of high-quality consumer brands available on
the site.
Among the features currently being integrated into a new site design include
extensive financial information and services; high-end auctions of rare
cars, jewelry and other collectibles; and unique items from the finest
designers and manufacturers from around the world.
In addition to its controlling interest in The 5th Avenue Channel, Tel-Com
Wireless Cable TV is a provider of wireless cable television programming for
residential and commercial customers.
