Jerry,I think that Swamp Fox was just a tiny tad too unsympathetic. What this experienced investor is trying to tell you is that as a small investor with limited capital, probably getting little or no advise from your broker, you will have heard of this stock late in the day for at least the first move up. Experience tells us that most big moves take place very quickly. Therefore, there are now only two choices for you: sell now and play into the hands of deep pocket investors who can say: “I'll buy a half million shares, but at 2.5.” and let the market makers scramble and manipulate to come up with enough inventory to make a sale such as this; or to wait out these games for however long it takes until the next move up. If you did even just as much investigation into this stock as to have read the postings in this thread back to January 1, and you were convinced by the possibilities, then the short term down swings should be clear to you as to what they are. If you bought under impulse, without thought, letting your greed control your behavior, you should take a lesson from this. Whether that lesson consists of taking a material loss right now or bearing the gut-wrenching fear through to the end of the tunnel should depend on your willingness to do the research necessary to gain an understanding of the position of this company at this time. It is, I believe, the primary purpose of this medium to help you accomplish exactly that. There are people here who understand the company, who understand the old technology of the company, who understand its new ventures, and who understand investing from a variety of standpoints. Take advantage of that. Actually, there are those here whose specialty is handling investors who are beginners and others whose specialty is handling investors whose emotions have run away with them too, so no harm done yet! I think the objection comes in when there is a feeling that the investor is unwilling to learn by asking questions. It constitutes an interruption. I reckon there isn't even an experienced investor in AXC at this point that has a totally confident picture of what is going on right now, and they are concentrating on figuring it out. Your questions should take that into consideration. |
