Thanks WTDG, You do have a valid point in saying that keeping people alive longer with all types of hi-tech gear, has got to put a strain on the system somewhere unless premium costs go up to match. I haven't seen where that is the case, although I have heard recently that health care costs are to begin rising again. Why, do you suppose, would an insurance company endorse a product, such as the tmd unit, unless they plan on putting it into practice? I would imagine that some folks needing this type of device could pay for the unit themselves, or pay for part of it, etc. I am pretty naive when it comes to the healthcare industry, for sure, but it seems that they would be shooting themselves in the foot by doing this.
