Daniel-
I used to be a regular on this board several months ago but gave it up after continual sniping and lack of civil discourse, but I thought I'd stop by and see what's up.

It looks like you've become the "Lanny Davis" of the Scandal thread, and I want to congratulate you for your devotion to the cause.

So why didn't your boy Starr make an article out of that one, Bill?

Ken Starr didn't make an issue out of Juanita Broaddrick, but he did investigate it, as it was a footnote in his report to Congress. She was never instructed to submit a false affidavit like Monica, she did this on her own volition, so this event did not fit the "obstruction of justice" pattern of Vernon Jordan and Webster Hubbell. It is interesting that the lawyer she used to help submit the affidavit to the Jones legal team was a republican state senator who supposedly asked none other than Bruce Lindsey for advice on submitting the affidavit.

As for Iran/Contra, if somebody broke laws, they should be prosecuted and punished, regardless of political party. I'm a libertarian by choice, a republican by necessity. I also believe most politicians don't give a damn about their constituents, they just want to keep their seats.
