brees, I don't want to comment much on this matter but for example I like to read books on history... take for example some of the Chinese dynasties.... well, actually you don't even need to go back that far, the last Chinese Emporer, or the Tibet societies, of course we consider these people "spiritual" right? Not Christian of course. There is no notion of adultery there, the whole "covet thy neighbor's wife" doesn't work - in fact it is clear that the 10 commandments only pertain to one tiny society alive at the time they were written (the asian cultures were much more populus).... which leads you to believe they are a creation of man. Unless of course people think that I (an occassional church-goer) am somehow more deserving of heaven-or a pleasant afterlife than a Tibetan monk.
