Well, exactly what I was thinking. Why would Pete sign an iron-clad, non-compete clause with Intuit back then, when he's NOT signing any exclusive portal deals now?

I seriously doubt that a close reading of the agreement with Intuit will support their press release, and that this is just (a) a temper tantrum, or (b) a table-pounding negotiating ploy, or (c) both.

I bet it's (c).
