I once got a similar error when trying to enable email notification of shipment on an order. I sent email to the webmaster and the problem went away. I think the web site uses what are called active server pages, which means there is code in the HTML of the web page which executes on the server. Apparently there is a defect in the code. Given that they got the site up in three months, it might be expected to have some defects. This is bothersome, but it might be best if we shareholders find the bugs first and get them fixed before too many of the general public run into them. Send them email with the url that caused the error.

I was impressed with the speed of the site, especially given the huge volume of traffic they must be getting from eager Dellheads :-). The selection seems good, if not huge. They could do with more background information about the products, although that can always be had by visiting the web sites of the suppliers. I just bought the
Red Had Secure Web Server software package for $65.95. Everything went smoothly, although I would like to avoid having to re-enter all the address and payment information I entered the last time I ordered from Dell. Anyone know if there is a way to do this? They do have a nice way to save shopping carts and even share them with others.
