Colin, well, good for you. I can watch Datek's Streamer show trade prints from 5 to 8 seconds ahead of stockedge all day long for the last two weeks. I even made a screen capture movie of this and showed it to them. They said it must be the data takes 8 seconds to get to me through the internet, which is a bit puzzling with under 150ms ping times.
Did you mention you are on @home in CT? Do you route through ibm-net? I don and they cant figure out why. One server along that route has a habit of stopping completely for as much as 2 minutes, 100% packet loss! This happens from zero to 10 times a day. I was just wondering if you route the same way.
I dont know what rt iii you use, it would be interesting to compare that to Streamer. I can call dbc on the phone and they see prints at the exact same time as I do, and the techs are hardwired in.
Just how do you sign up to be a beta tester? I have been working with a private contact in the QA department for nearly 3 months now, and they told me they couldnt show me the version with multiple intra-day data, it wasnt ready for outside testing yet!
I am glad you were up all morning Monday Colin, you must have had the good fortune to log in early and stay on. I was up to, until I tried to shut down and reconnect, then that same old password problem got me. It didnt last long though, it was back by the open, so after all it wasnt that bad.
Let me know about the @home question if you can? Thanks
