VISION QUEST ANNOUNCES SEVERAL NEW ACTS FOR 1999
HOUSTON, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Entertainment Technologies & Programs, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ETPI), a fully integrated entertainment and amusement gaming company, announced that Vision Quest Productions, its concert promotion division, has signed several new acts signed for the spring and summer seasons.
Vision Quest has signed several entertainers for the annual China Lake Music Festival in May, including Spyro Gyra and Firefall. The China Lake Music Festival drew thousands of people last year. The company is also putting together Spyro Gyra routing in Japan for later in the year.
Vision Quest has also signed several new acts for Far East routings in May thru July, including Blue Oyster Cult, Bad Company, Asia, and the NFL Cheerleaders. Rose Royce, of "Car Wash" fame, has been signed for a European routing. Lee Ann Womack, 1997 American Music Award winner for Favorite New Country Artist and 1998 Country Music Award's Female Vocalist of the Year nominee, has been signed for a July concert in Whidbey Island Naval Air Station, WA. Several other concerts and routings are in the works in the U. S., Asia, and Europe.
Jeffrey Thornton, President of Vision Quest Productions, stated, "Based on acts booked thru May, we are currently operating at a pace to double our performance in 1999 compared to 1998. We have many additional shows in the works which we should be closing on shortly."
