Max,
Howdy and thanks for your 1794. I also remember the Magnafluxing of parts. Many of the engine builders for the NASCAR and Sprint cars that are located in the southwest Virginia and North Carolina engine shops MUST and I repeat MUST have the engine parts checked over and over for imperceptable metal fatigue.
When I had the Continental engine rebuilt on my Cessna 172, the engine parts had to be Magnafluxed.
What I am questioning, Max, is whether many other test facilities already have similar equipment already available for their use. I just am very hard pressed to believe that this type of test equipment is not already out there and being used on a day-to-day basis.
If not, then Mr. Gayle and employees have a real winner on their hands. We just must be overlooking something very important here in our analysis. What is it? What are we overlooking???
