Another supermarket tabloid had its cover page and center spread this week devoted to warning about impending stock market crash. Doesn't anyone but me buy groceries? Guess I am the only housewife on the thread.<g> I can't help but wonder what is triggering this. Why would a publication that is aimed at lower-class and lower-middle-class housewives devote its cover to the stock market? They usually have stuff like bat children from Mars and Elvis sightings. Wonder if maybe it is intended to scare people into opposing putting Social Security funds into the stock market. Works for me.
