Any good mechanic can do the same thing with just his ears. Unfortunately, I never seem to find one to work on my vehicle.
But there is a point. The product and concept is both simple and remarkable.
A fantastic use of technology. And one that makes you say,"Why didn't I think of that."

Someone made a comment regarding detecting stress fractures on metal, particularly aircraft. But I thought this only reads sound, not emits. Could have misread something. But I guess you could just as easily generate a signal across a reference model and compare that signal to a defective component.
