In a statement, the company said the change would increase quarterly goodwill amortization by $2.5 million, or $0.01 per share. It did not say how the revision would affect earnings or which particular quarter will be revised, and a spokeswoman was not immediately available to comment. The company also said it continues to see strengthening demand for its products.
