jd - LOL. Chicago, Texas, teaching. Yes, that could be confusing! I'm a Professor at Northwestern Univ Med School in Chicago, and do a little teaching, but mostly research in neuroscience. Started life working on psychotherapeutic drug action, hence the interest in SSRIs. My work is far afield of that area now though. The Texas connection derives from the fact that my fiancee is from Houston and I spent the last 2 months there. Great restaurants!

Found out the student has some form of anxiety disorder and has behaved this way in everyone's classes. Not much to be done, by me at least. Kind of disturbing to deliver your best joke and have 25 people laugh and one break down in tears!

Chicago winters are very overrated - try living in Minneapolis!! Or Upstate NY. Give me Chicago with the cool lake breeze and clean air in the summer instead of NYC's heat and smog any day...:)

Regardless of how you define SEPR, as a chartist I love it. It has something for everyone - steady growth for investors and volatility for daytraders and momentum types. Only the longish-term shorts suffer much with this one.

Happy investing!
