Mike, They only have to tell you twice a year in their required reports to the SEC. Many will tell you if you call and ask, though they certainly won't mention any trades they are still working. I used to publish a list of my funds' holdings every week and faxed (or, before faxes were around, Zap mailed) it to the brokerage firms that sold our funds. But that was unusual and very well received by salesmen and shareholders and my own marketing dept.
