At the close [2/12/97], IDCC was down to 3 bucks - the lowest it's been in a while. I've been following INTEK now for several months and talking with varied and sundry brokertypes and streeturchins as might appear. The lastest skinny as I have heard it is that several of the former officers and directors of INTEK, as well as Fahnestock & Co. have been dumping their stock ... presumably, much of which was acquired as options perhaps, etc. ... Now that SECURICOR COMMUNICATIONS is at the helm and has a substantial stake in IDCC, it cleaned house, and some of those who were "cleaned out" are a part of the stock tick down.
Who knows.
Certainly, I have heard that John Simmonds, with his background from GEMS - Glenayre Technologies -- and Dr. Hough ... this company will certainly take on the competition for a good ride.
As you've read on some earlier postings, Lehman Bros. is no slouch. It would be nice to see some definitive action from the top ... in a "top-ward" direction.
I'll stay tuned.
