Kory - i doubt the contract is that loose.... the company for which i work has lots of licensing agreements and is also creative oriented. We have to have the stock in physical production before the expiration date. Of course, that could include a authorized purchase order to an outside vendor.

I think you can rest assured there is no recall. THQ just have to stop selling the games....the licensor would have no legal position to demand that a retailer return something they have already rightfully paid for and own. In fact, i do not believe THQ could force a retailer to return goods.
