RED HAT If a company like Red Hat were to go public (there are rumors), that would get the investment community rolling into Linux in a big way. Of course, this may be in contrast to the true spirit of Linux, in which the source code should remain FREE, in the sense that we may see variations of Linux in the way the Microsoft made changes to Sun's java. But I could be wrong on that. I have a box running Red Hat & I love it. Looking forward to their next version, which should have great gui improvements even over & above their latest upgraded version. There are allot of people that believe Linux can't make it, and Microsoft is the king. There were allot of people that believed that Dell stock would never fall like it did. LOL.
