For anyone interested, the newswire story is an Apple press release that anyone can get from Apple as they are issued. Go to the Apple home page and subscribe to "press releases". It's free and timely and it comes directly to you via e-mail without filtering by the press. Of course that means that you have do your own "unspinning". Usually neat product info for the dedicated.
