Steve, it will take Dave Taylor stepping down OR a committment to keeping absolutely to time frames and promises made.
There is no way they will sell 50,000 tents this year. I bet they don't sell half that; or at least deliver half that. Turnaround time between container shipments is very long, and their limited financing and cash flow is not enough to even get that many made, is it? You tell ME.
Also, Dave Taylor told me that the molds for the new 2-man tent would be done late last FALL! Are they really done now...finally?
WHAT IT WILL TAKE: But it they can provide a solid list of orders received (not just "we received over 1000 units") or if they can provide sizeable PO's of some major names (as he promised last year they could do once they had the financing), then you may have something.
And I want to see his math and proposed delivery schedule. When you pin him down, I suspect you will find that it is impossible to deliver 50,000 tents in the next 9 months. If I remember right, that is about 15-20 containers.
Plus what are his margins?
What are the dealers in the U.S. that ahve been set up to sell the tents? Give shareholders the names and phone numbers, so they can call these dealers and interview them. When have THEY been told to expect delivery?
It is a SHOW ME STOCK now.
I am actually very surprised that there is not a class action suit against them. Many still are extremely upset at the massive misinformation.
PS- if they let me attempt to sell the Company to JanSport or others, which is located 20 miles from me, that would be the best deal for shareholders, imo.
** after all, Dave Taylor claimed to have 2 offers on the table last Fall for $2.00 per share! And that was before the new 2-man tent. Wonder what it is worth now Dave Taylor?
Folks, I would demand this information and do some solid DD. |
