Fred, you can just change the DOS properties of the connection agent that is run by BrowseMaster such that it won't care if you shut down without first closing the BrowseMaster DOS window manually. Right mouse button click on /windows/system/conagent.exe and enter into the properties menu. Go to misc menu and uncheck "warn if active" under termination. This is good to do even if you don't have a UPS auto-shutdown requirement. It removes the final annoyance factor regarding the DOS window (we already auto-minimize it on startup via the properties of the BrowseMaster icon). It's getting better... :-) Best, Jimmy Liberato
