I think you are right here. The added convenience that businesses have found in dealing with Dell online through the Premier pages will expand into other product lines because of gigabuys.com . There is synergy in having a one stop shop for all this stuff that cuts out a lot of paper-work for companies. I know that in large companies, the cost of acquiring stuff is largely the labor used to order it and process the paper-work. If you can save time for your employees, the exact price of the product is less important to your overall cost of the purchase. Dell has the right idea with millions of online store users already visiting each day.

I agree with others when they say Dell needs to do some competitive shopping at other sites to make sure they are not being under-sold on items.

Also, they need to improve the navigatability of their site. Seems too sterile to me. Lists are rather boring.

I would like to see a premier page for stock holders of record. Maybe a loyalty discount for us to entice us to buy more of our goods and services through Dell. Even 3% additional discount could create a win-win motivation to do all your shopping through Dell. Maybe even cause more people to buy Dell shares. Some companies provide additional discounts to share holders including IBM and Disney.
