Tangent Imaging Systems, a division of Scangraphics, Inc., (Nasdaq: SCNG - news), a pioneer and leader in wide format scanning and imaging software, unveils a scan-to-print solution that provides ICC profiled support to the high-speed Rastergraphics 6-color PP5000 and small format color laser copiers, such as the Canon CLC Series. The key benefit of the Full Circle Solution is the capability to produce reproductions of any size at a high speed with excellent color fidelity. The Tangent Solution will be demonstrated in the Sihl GmbH booth in Hall 1 during CeBIT '99 in Hanover, Germany March 18 - 24, 1999. The Full Circle Solution provides the capability for scanning a wide-format document and outputting it directly to, and concurrently to, both large and small format printers. The color management system for the Full Circle Solution provides either ICC profiling or Tangent's Color Loop Process. The choice of CMS allows the system to be successful for a wide variety of end-users, whether they are committed to ICC profiling or prefer Tangent's proprietary Color Loop Process.
The Full Circle Solution, an innovation led by Tangent who is known worldwide for unparalleled color matching and image acquisition, offers the reprographic industry a tool making output easier than ever before and satisfying a growing large-format market which often requires varying output sizes from large-format documents.
