The DELL IBM agreement today includes the sharing of IBM's advanced semiconductor technologies with DELL. That is an absolutely awesome combination with overwhelming potential. Of course this is a good news/bad news scenario for LSI. The bad news is that a stand alone LSI cannot possibly compete with this monster. The good news is that this increases the possibility of LSI being taken over in the near future. My guess is that sometime within the next twelve months LSI will be involved in some sort of merger to the benefit of current shareholders.
