Teng Construction Awarded ALYA
Installation with US Government
VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March
4, 1999--ALYA International, Inc. (OTC BB:ALYA) announced
today that Teng Construction LLC of Chicago, Illinois has
received a purchase order from the Government Services Administration (GSA) to proceed with an
installation of ALYA's O.P.E.N.centrix Advanced Security Management System in the E.M.
Dirksen Federal Courthouse and the Federal Building, both in Chicago.
The E.M. Dirksen Federal Courthouse consists of approximately one million square feet of space
serving Federal district courts, the FBI, the Department of Justice, the General Service
Administration (GSA), and other Federal agencies.
The Federal Building in Chicago serves the Federal Protection Service, the Federal Command Center
and other Federal agencies.
''ALYA's products had to meet stringent requirements to win this bid,'' said ALYA's Vice President
of Marketing and Sales, Mr. Douglas H. Corbett, ''including an inspection of ALYA's facilities by
four federal officials. The prestige of this contract will increase ALYA's visibility in the
marketplace,'' Mr. Corbett said.
