Too many times have I read an article
in the Journal which pointed in one
direction...and then things moved the
other way. Finally, I let my subscription
lapse recently--I had subscribed on and
off for these past ten years and don't miss
it one bit. The best thing about the WSJ
was that it gave something for Dad to read
when I'd take them over to the family winter
cabin.

The next best thing about the Journal, is that
there is no slick stuff--so firing up the
frankin stove is a snap.

Anyway, getting back to the Journal as a
contrary indicator. You can be sure that
big pharma is going to start snapping up
genomics companies now that this decoy has
been published.

What pairing is in the news today--DuPont and
Monsanto? That's so lame. I'll bet the next
one will be something more interesting. Wouldn't
a pairing like Monsanto-HGSI turn a few heads?
...or Monsanto-Curagen;-) And they could just
do that with a little throwin' around money.

Ooops, back to the Munch thread for me.
