Do you think that this is an admission from IBM that you can't compete with DELL's direct model? Yes. But I think it is more than that. Remember the bridging strategy I was talking about re: GTW? IBM is employing this now, only they are using DELL to attack their competition in various arenas, like EMC and SEG to name just two. I think that if they could have, they would have bought Dell.
