>>>We are hoping by the time Xybernaut builds the MA VI...

What is the date of this Xybernaut response? It's obviously dated from 1998. As posted, the context suggests it is a current letter.

It does, however, give aid in demonstrating that Xybernaut's $500 wish has probably been spoken many times before. Steve Newman introduced the concern to me in response to my January email. Frankly, I think the price is reasonable now.

>>>Before throwing this possibly great news away,
>>>I would suggest a call to IR.

I emailed a two-pager to both internal and external IR six days ago. I requested a response, but don't mind if it takes a while, or get's answered at all (though I do keep bringing it up:^). I mainly wanted to let them know my thoughts. My previous email took a while for a response, but I was heavy in warrants then and the delay got me worried. As for using the phone? What's wrong with using a computer for correspondence?

Somehow I think they are just busy with the 'making money' part of the business. There's not a lot of profit in chasing noisy on-line traders around. I figure we won't get much info until it's time for a formal announcement.

>>>To be really generic, IMO, would be to say
>>>that a $500 "computer walkman"

I guess I'm just splitting hairs on the 'level' of how generic the article was, but I felt I learned nothing new from it. It was entertaining to read, though. And I still say the context of the article indicates the price was not a typo. A $500 dollar wearable IS the future. It's just that this particular future several several years away. The stupid part of that paragraph is the "$300 disposable" part.

The fact is, a $4000 PIII from today will get disposed of in a few years because it's archaic and worthless, not because of it's original price. A $150 VCR or $50 CDman won't get tossed out "because they're cheap", they will get used until they break or the formats become obsolete. The "$300" part of the article was one of it's MANY demonstrations of technical naivety. To me, $300 worth of anything isn't disposable.

Shoe.
