Tell me what you think of WMX (BTW they will be readopting the Waste Managment name) at this point on a TA basis. They've been battered by Soros who holds a 6% stake and there is pressure from shareholders to change the executive management. (Rooney & Buntrock have targets on them; Koneig the former CFO has been reassigned). They are going to divest of another billion dollars of assets this year. I also believe they will bring the remaining assets of Wheelabrator (WTI) and Waste Management International (WME) into the fold. Soros et al are pressuring the company to return to its core competence. (Waste Management in North America only).
I'm interested in your thoughts on this one. The stock has been underperforming for the past few years.
