I read the material on his website, he appears to be onto some pretty outrageous stuff! I wonder, though, whether a lawsuit would be viable, since it appears that the federal government was part of the alleged conspiracy. There are various doctrines in antitrust law that exempt you from antitrust liability for the anticompetitive effects of interaction with the government, for example, legislation you lobbied for (Noerr-Pennington doctrine); actions required by governmental entities (state action doctrine); or areas heavily regulated by the government (pervasive regulation doctrine). I don't know enough about the facts to know if any of these would defeat a claim, I assume whatever law firm is evaluating the case is looking at these potential defenses.

Best regards, Otter
