Mistake: Getting desparate & chasing a stock, then overpaying for it. I have gotten desparate, thinking I'll miss this once in a lifetime chance to get in, then end up placing a market order driven by pure emotion, not reasoned discipline and logic. I end up paying top dollar, making it very difficult to turn in a good profit.
