Interesting announcement, MB. While the announcement may indeed be positive for DELL and if executed properly, add to revenues in a meaningful way, when coupled with the gigabuys.com announcement the two announcements strike this writer as evidence that DELL is concerned about revenue growth in its core businesses.

Perplexing: The server service business can have excellent margins and is an important part of server sales, but the announced agreement did not address whether IBM will provide that service. How does DELL compete with CPQ and HWP in this area?

I'm probably missing something here, but I don't see how they convince large corporations that they can provide the necessary service. Perhaps that is coming.
