The US retail market is a small part of INTC's market. It is a huge portion of AMD's market. It was hype. It did hurt INTC, at least short term, but that is ok. The fact that others are asserting that AMD outsold INTC (as you did) is proof that misinformation can, indeed, drive the market.

In any event, I assume you are long ATHM, as am I, so we agree on that.
