I only buy calls. Over a long period of time, SEPR is a one way street. It only goes up. By buying LEAPs, I don't have to use margin to hold the stocks. A friend of mine is even more aggressive, he buys much shorter term calls and tries to roll them over into succeeding short term calls. I am not comfortable with that strategy as there had been time when SEPR fluctuated but gone no where for quite a few months. IMHO there still may be a year or so for rapid price appreciation but after that I think I will go back to holding stocks.
