I don't know if it matters if its licensed to operate in china. The net is a global medium and if one has access to the "the net" then you automatically have access to other sites around the world. Unless, of coarse, China sets something up like a nationwide Intranet that is not connected to the outside world.

What I did find is that if you do a search on the Chinese Yahoo it does turn up websites that are based in China (chinese ones end in .cn instead of .com.). I found a few of these. So it is entirely possible for someone in China to register their site on Yahoo.

I am thinking about buying some IMOT and or XNET. I am in the process of researching (read: throwing darts at dartboard) them both now. 8^)
