Helix subsidiary appoints new board member Helix Biopharma Corp HBP Shares issued 13,776,415 Mar 3 close $0.38 Thu 4 Mar 99 News Release An anonymous director reports Dr. Paul M. Russo, chairman, CEO and co-founder of Genesis Microchip Inc. has been appointed to the board of directors of the company's subsidiary, Sensium Technologies Inc. Sensium was established to develop a miniaturized, self-contained biosensor based on its proprietary molecular sensing technology. Applications for this technology include medical diagnostics, food contaminant detection and environmental testing. Sensium has also received an additional $250,000 investment commitment to bring the total minority investment to $1-million. GNSS:NASDAQ
