I think DELL & IBM should team up with TDFX and AMD and beat INTC at their own game. The proprietary nature of the PIII is the first move towards isolating themselves from the rest of the community. Secondly, pushing the slower USB2 rather than firewire will be INTC's next mistake. Anyway, what I'm saying is that TDFX should open up and team themselves with AMD & DELL. I called dell about a computer the other day and all I could get them to install was a RIVA TNT board for 3D acceleration. They acted like they didn't even know what TDFX was! I mean fast frame rates is OK- but isn't it really the Glide code that sets this acceleration apart from the competition? l mason
