AT&T's decision not to buy into AOL was a smart one.

AOL is the old, slow, and fat gorilla with his hands full of bananas (customers). He's lazily eating them and belching at anyone who doesn't recognize he's the king.

AT Home is the young, hungry, and (100 times) faster gorilla. He is sneaking up on the old guy with a gleam in his eye.

Guess who's going to start stealing the bananas now?
