Expands OASiS to Three More
States
SARASOTA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 4,
1999--Surgical Safety Products, Inc. (OTC BB:SURG) announced today the successful recent
deployment of OASiS Touch-Access Information Service (Version 2 of this Internet based
business-to-business application) in three hospitals: Columbia Presbyterian in New York, Partners
AtlantiCare in Massachusetts, and St. Francis Medical Center in New Jersey.
According to Bernice Gordon, Director, Quality Assurance/Staff Development at the prestigious
Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, OASiS has far exceeded her expectations. ''OASiS was a hit on
all counts! Our staff is delighted. I thought this technology was going to be a great tool for the
Operating Room, but after seeing what OASiS can do, we simply must have it in other key
departments also.'' She went on to comment that the OASiS system has the ability to impact key

Built on a platform utilizing technologies from Microsoft, Intel and Apple, among others, OASiS
Touch-Access Information is truly unique in its approach to filling a critical need in the medical
