TraderX -- most of the meat was posted over the last several weeks -- WWW.WAVE.COM is a good place to start some DD. On Valuation of Company: wallstreettoday.com Let the CEO speak for himself at above URL -- but he says valuation between Yahoo and AOL. Melcher says fair value on signing of one OEM = Market cap of $1 billion. The question is deployment -- in the same interview above CEO states that deployment strategy is on track -- expects deployment in the millions beginning in mid-1999. Haup Win/TV board will be the beginning of deployment -- that ships soon -- and if you listened to Haup Conference Call -- they were more excited about WAVE on the call than they were about Haup -- they couldn't stop talking about it. They kept calling it "the money chip". Melcher on Friday on CNNfn -- called WAVX potentially the biggest of the big internet related stocks -- sounds to me he would agree with CEO's point about somewhere between Yahoo & AOL. Yes -- Nasdaq is "old" news -- but here again -- because people here emailed the company -- we have the company saying they expect the Nasdaq listing to come in early to mid March -- today is March 4th -- so I guess anyday now - is fair commentary. Hewlett-Packard announced its split of the company -- and at the same time began showcasing the EMBASSY chip (something they have been loathe to do up til now) on their web sight -- and yesterday began a tease page -- that basically says -- wait til next week to find out what the next E is... The bridge loan runs out soon -- so the bridge to what? is a good question -- here again that announcement will have to be made soon -- but the company has stated they have a number of options and will pursue the least dilutive -- my guess is a small secondary sometime after relisting -- but its just a guess. HP announced they were in partnership with WAVX on Versecure Technology -- HP spends 18 months getting the US government to OK export of the encryption technology in VerSecure -- about 1 and 1/2 months ago HP announced 17 nations representing 80% of PC/internet users around the globe have approved VerSecure for export/Import -- HP says wait til next week to find out what the next E is... I don't think HP would go through the 18 month worldwide bureaucratic maze unless they planned on mass deployment of VerSecure Just wondering if VerSecure is part of the next E or not. From the begining I have urged people not to trade in and out of this stock -- but to take a posistion and hold -- I did so in the 3's and 4's. I guess I could have sold at 14 or 13 or surely yesterday at 12.5 and bought back in today at 11 -- but I'm not doing that with this one -- I have said before -- to understand this company you have to understand they want to radically change the way commerce is transacted -- if they can do that the company will be valued somehwere between Yahoo & AOL -- not hype -- that is as clear as anything to me -- the question is can they do it? We are entering deployment stage..everyday the answer to that question becomes a little clearer -- Haup Board will be another step -- I think HP will as well -- content providers want on board -- the evidence is mounting that they can and will pull it off. We are about 90 days from seeing how right or wrong long term holders of WAVX are.... I've placed my bet. Trippi
