I at one time wrote a weekly newletter for the Labrador exploration play. At that time i followed more than 150 companies, a lot of which were just 'stock exploration plays'. There were 15 to 20 real ones that did carry out exploration programs in Labrador.

I learnt several valuable lessons from this experience.

First, and most importantly, 99.9% of all companies experience delays. If you buy a junior exploration and expect the results to come ontime then you have bought the wrong stock.

Secondly, statistically, exploration companies are not likely find an ore deposit. I figure that; you buy the stock months before the exploration starts, wait for a run up, sell your position and then short the stock. Though i never did this, it would have worked ever single time for the Labrador companies. I'M NOT RECOMMENDING THIS.

When i discovered IPM, i was astonished. Here they are sitting on a very large orebody that has potential to make Busang look small. Like someone posted earlier - its a technology play. The risk associated with finding an orebody is not here. The only risk here is time - that's no risk!
