Here is another good article...

Which of the following is a warning sign investors should heed:

1. A company changes its name, business and ticker symbol without a clear explanation.

2. A company produces an almost incoherent press release thanking Nasdaq for letting them change their symbol.

3. A company with no sales, an undetermined product and as yet unknown market compares its potential name recognition to that enjoyed by the likes of Amazon.com, Ebay and Microsoft.

4. A company predicts some of its success will come strictly from the recognition factor associated with its ticker symbol.

5. All of the above.

Take your pick, or add 'em up. Webboat.com has all of this, and more, in a press release issued Feb. 1. The newest e-commerce site (we're guessing they're going to sell boats, but the press release never actually says so) was a bagel company a mere four weeks ago. Since taking on its new persona, Webboat.com shares spiked at $1, but have since drifted down below $0.60.

Oh, did we mention this Internet commerce company's website isn't working yet?

Sound familiar? Just say Bingo and you're there...
