I've been doing some math, but I guess I'm using the wrong conversion. I thought (I'm sure I will be corrected if wrong) gold was ~31 grams p/oz. Using 31 grams, hole one comes out to 4.402 grams/ton. Adding all the results and dividing by the number of trenchs reported, I get an average of 16.8 grams p/ton. The five best are 197, 179, 114, 43, and 19 grams p/ton. A previous post indicated that 2-3 grams p/ton was excellent. And, this was last summers trenching results; the gold has probably grown bigger since then! <BG>
