Dan,

>>There is speculation that Bill Gates himself might testify in an effort to counter the awful effect of his videotaped deposition, which showed the brilliant strategist rocking in his chair, clutching his knees and apparently ignorant of every big development within his company.

Maybe the "awful effect" was showing us the real Bill Gates. It would be better if he was prepped first, propped up on the stand and fed "canned" questions from the PR legalists. It was Nixon's "trying to fix things" with public appearances that was his real demise - he was not a man quick on his feet under public cross-examination. Bill needs to stay away from live performances and stick with the static photos and edited verse which built his image in the first place.

Cheers,

Norm
