ahoj? I assume this is hello in Czech?

I think you're generally right on your first and second points, i.e., that many people are sheep (this is heavily reinforced by "technical analysis" traders who place greater emphasis on what other people are doing that on the fundamentals of a company and its real prospects), and that many people want the "instant gratification" of a quick trade (there's a post over on the Yahoo! tuts board by someone who bought in at 45 and sold at 49 and described it as the wall street equivalent of a "nooner"!) and get out quick. The market these days is heavily influenced by many factors that have nothing to do with true values and growth potential. In terms of your 3rd comment, i.e., that they may not believe in teh product, well, I think most don't really don't know much about the product nor its potential, but just wanted to make a quick buck on what they hoped would be a quick pop internet stock. Hence the bump up to 80s 1st couple of days.

This thing is good and will do well and the key is to buy at a good point and hold it as the company grows.

(by the way, how did you average "down to $12 a share" on a stock that went public at a claimed "18", but didn't sell on open market less than 40 until just today?)
