Thurston,

I agree with you that we should not gloat over someone else's misery. And I'm sorry about your losses in CPU. Many CPQ shareholders share a pain similar to yours (my wife and I almost bought CPQ at $43)

I also was quite amazed at the speed of CPU's decline in stock valuation. Management obviously were not playing it straight with t shareholders and the stock will now suffer months upon months of having a low value, with the company being forced to merge with some other company in the low double digits.

I don't wish Bill, you, or any other investor in a stock ill. The whole investing "game" rests upon an investors hopes and dreams about the worth and prospects of his particular investment.

It is frustrating when those companies fail us somehow as we have all seen last year with TAVA.

It is even more frustrating when success is not being recognized.

Btw, I don't think short-selling is "Un-American". I have never argues someone's right to short TAVA at will. What I have found offensive are the tactics and slander utilized at times. Tactics that apparently ignore the earnings and revenue growth that the TAVA has been reflecting for the past two quarters.

Regards,

Ron
