If anyone cares - I have been researching the liability of this situation - The drill pipe supplier has only limited responsibility. The operators have a responsibility to properly inspect each and every joint. That includes threadings.

I think most of you have taken the correct approach - You are not banking on a settlement to line your bank accts. You are more concerened with testing this well and getting on with it.

It will be settled and I think you will find that the parties are not concentrating on the suit - They are concentrating on the day to day operations.

Good luck and I have a few remnants of these stox - I do not have a large position. BUT I will be here with bells on if I see indicators we are moving upward. GOIOD luck and a good thread. Anyone intersted in more details on the Suit - feel free to PM me.
