Just clipped this off the Sask. Govt. Web site. Might have some clues that are otherwise unavailable until we get a news release.

"Seabee Mine

Claude Resources Inc., operator (100%).

Gold production in 1997 was a record 58,467 oz Au, a direct result of improved head grade and mill throughput. Subsequently, the mine produced 42,900 oz Au for the first nine months of 1998, slightly more than the 42,000 oz produced during the same period last year. Since start-up in December 1991 to September 30, 1998, 350,723 oz Au have been produced. Last year's mill throughput of 211 481 t was a nine percent increase over 1996 and represents an average of 580 tpd. For the first nine months of 1998, the mill has processed an average of 620 tpd at a grade of 8.63 g/t with a 92.9 percent recovery rate. The mine appears on track to meet its 60,000 oz Au target for 1998 produced at cash costs below US$185/oz. In February 1998, A.C.A. Howe International Ltd. placed total Seabee reserves at 907 200 t grading 10 g/t (0.29 oz/ton) Au with over 590 000 t of this figure in the proven and probable categories.

Mid-May the company was drifting on the 2C structure at the 110, 190, and 290 m levels on the adjacent Currie Rose property which is also owned 100 percent by Claude subject to a 30 percent net profit interest in favour of Currie Rose Resources. Over the next few months underground development will continue in preparation for mining the ore. Last year's DDH.S594, drilled on the boundary zone with this property, cut a true width of 13.4 m grading 24 g/t (0.7 oz/ton) Au. The 2C structure is open at strike and depth.

A first quarter 1998 drill program completed 7120 m in 45 holes on the Currie Rose property. Modest gold values were encountered sporadically along the 600 m of strike length tested. Considerably more follow-up drilling, particularly at depth, is required to better assess the extent of these structures.

Line cutting and geophysical surveys were performed in advance of a summer mapping program on the Santoy Lake property, located 8 km east of the Seabee mine. This geophysical work consisted of Mag/EM surveys plus gradient array induced polarization surveys over selected targets on a test case basis. These surveys were designed to generate geophysical anomalies coincident with known gold-bearing structures. Work programs in the Santoy Lake area are intended to increase Claude's working interest in the property from 50 to 76 percent as per an amendment to the joint venture agreement with Santoy Resources Ltd."
